Message from the Chair

Greetings from Pakistan!

Through collaborative commitment, unwavering dedication, and steadfast support, the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) is steadily advancing toward its goal of achieving global health security targets and fortifying the world against public health threats. As part of the efforts to achieve this goal, multiple meetings have been conducted to develop the GHSA Framework 2028 and the first draft will be shared with all the member countries for review and comments in September 2023. Moreover, the Accountability and Result Task Force has shared a questionnaire to collect the information for the GHSA phase 2 closing report that will highlight the lessons learned and the way forward of the GHSA initiative.

We highly appreciate the efforts of the members in submitting the Country/Organization Commitment, Stories of Impact, and Expression of Inters. The GHSA Secretariat is doing splendid work in compiling the Commitments and Stories of Impact. After review by the GHSA Steering Group, they will be shared on the GHSA website.

A greater effort is being made to maximize the GHSA collaboration, and several new partners have been identified with an interest in joining the GHSA.

Once again, we want to emphasize the value of hard work and express our gratitude for the kind support of all the members in achieving both current and future tasks.
